INNOVATIVE LASER TECHNOLOGIES FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

   About the Institute:  


Institute of Optoelectronic Information Technologies (IOIT) is a laureate of the main national award of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation "Golden Mercury" in the field of innovation. IOIT represents a new element of Russia's innovation infrastructure that successfully implements a single chain from fundamental research to implemented technologies, which have prospects in high-tech and knowledge-intensive markets.

The company was established in the Novosibirsk Academgorodok by the staff of Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science in 2007. The activity of IOIT is aimed at the development of new promising areas, which will determine the dynamics and key vectors of global technological competition in the future. The company conducts focused R&D in the field of laser, nano, bio, electronic and information technologies, bringing the results of work to industrial implementations with multibillion-dollar efficiency.

The scope of the IOIT covers laser diagnostics of multiphase flows and information monitoring in a wide range of companies from various fields of the economy: power engineering and mechanics, aerospace and mechanical engineering, metallurgy and railway transport, glass industry and medicine, semiconductor electronics and nanotechnologies, nuclear, oil and gas industries, research enterprises and universities. Successful activity of IOIT is largely targeted to solve the problem of high technology import substitution and provide a significant increase in efficiency and the safety of many innovative industrial and defense technologies. The organization is included in the registers of the Federal Directory "Defense Industrial Complex of Russia" as an enterprise of great importance in the development and strengthening of the defense-industrial potential of the Russian Federation.

High industrial, economic and social achievements of a highly qualified team have been repeatedly noted by many state, federal and international honorary awards. Among there are several of them: two awards of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology for "The development of scientific foundations, the creation and implementation of optical-information methods, systems and technologies for contactless diagnostics of dynamic processes for improving efficiency and safety in the energy, industry and transport" in 2014 , and for "The development and implementation of optical systems for recording the parameters of work processes to improve the efficiency of energy technologies" in 2017, the award of A.N. Kosygin in 2015 in the field of science, technology and production organization for "The creation and introduction of knowledge-intensive import-substituting technologies for information optoelectronic diagnostics that have significantly increased efficiency and safety in the real sector of the Russian economy," the victory in the Russian Innovation Competition for the media holding "Expert" in the nomination "The best industrial innovation in Russia - 2008"; gold medals of the Moscow international salons of innovations and investments and international industrial exhibitions "Sibpolytech"; the "Innovations for investments to the future" medal of the American-Russian Business Union (ARBU) within the framework of the Golden Galaxy international program for “the development of innovative activities, the technical re-equipment of production and active participation in the implementation of innovative technologies”, as well as many other collective and individual awards.

LASER DOPPLER MEASURING SYSTEMS

Laser Doppler measuring systems (LDIS) of the LAD-0xx series are designed for precision non-contact measurements of multiphase flows in applied and fundamental physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, ecology, technology and innovative technologies. The possibility of carrying out remote experiments is realized. The transition to semiconductor lasers (efficiency 20-60%) made it possible to create efficient and small-size measuring systems with fundamentally new functionality in comparison with systems based on gas lasers (0.03% efficiency).

Due to the simplicity of operation and relative safety in comparison with the best foreign analogues, the LAD-0xx series systems are especially promising for educational purposes.

Forty years experience of the scientific and technical team of developers from the Novosibirsk Academgorodok was used in the developed devices. The world level is based on a series of works in the 80's and 90's targeted on the development of systems with gas lasers and the development of the first powerful injection laser emitters for optical instrumentation (jointly with the Ioffe Physicotechnical Institute, headed by Academician Zh. I. Alferov ). A significant scientific reserve led to the development of the newest LDIS series LAD-0xx in 2003, three years before the appearance of the best world analog (DANTEC), as a part of the import substitution program of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Measuring complexes LAD-0xx have been introduced and have been used in the various fields: at “Power Machines – LMZ“, which is the largest enterprise of domestic hydraulic turbine construction, in a number of scientific and educational organizations of Russia, such as Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics SB RAS (heat and mass exchange, safety of nuclear energy, nanotechnology), Perm State University (convection studies) , Perm State Technical University, Tomsk State University, the Research Center for Energy Problems of the Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk State University (diagnosis vortices and internal waves), Mendeleev Institute of Metrology, Samara State Aerospace University.
